Pung Club

Why mahjong

A mahjong table is a small machine made of sound: tiles shuffled face down, the click of a discard, the pause before someone calls. Pung is that call — three identical tiles, claimed out of turn. Every design in this shop starts from a real tile: the bamboo suit, the dots, the characters, drawn again by hand until the line feels right on fabric rather than on porcelain.

Everything is printed on demand, so nothing sits in a warehouse. We ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges. If an item arrives damaged or misprinted, message us on Etsy within 14 days of delivery with a photo and we'll replace or refund it; the same applies, within 14 days of the estimated delivery date, to a package that never arrives. Packages the carrier confirms as delivered can't be replaced, and orders returned for an incorrect address are reshipped at cost. Orders and customer service run through Etsy, where the shop lives.

Gifts for mahjong players

If you are shopping for someone who plays: the tile bag and the table mat are the two things regular players actually use every week, and the shirts are the ones they wear to game night. Prices run from a few euros for stickers to around thirty for a heavyweight tee.
